Recycled packages

For those who have a small business, packaging is always a hot topic.

In one hand there is the concern about safety in shipping, on the other the presentation of the brand, and ultimately the cost, which can be quite expensive. Usually companies that sell packages, sell in bulk, sometimes not very viable for those who runs a small business.

So let's talk about recycling.

The images below are recycled packaging of milk and juice (tetrapark), small scraps of fabric, glue and varnish.  Just give wings to the imagination.

Think of the image of your shop and with a very low cost, you have an original packaging, durable and unique.

Monday Moodboard!

I was researching what the color green symbolizes and here's what I found:

Green symbolizes self-respect and well being. Green is the color of balance. It also means learning, growth and harmony.

Green contains the powerful energies of nature, growth, desire to expand or increase. Balance and a sense of order are found in the color green. Change and transformation is necessary for growth, and so this ability to sustain changes is also a part of the energy of green.

Etsy co-design intallation

The Etsy community in the Netherlands is working in a co-design installation, that will be at the big Textile Art Exhibition in the Netherlands www.stichtingtextielplus.nl/ on the 16 and 17th of March.


This big artwork will also be present at another event in  Belgium.


All European sellers were invited to participate.
It will be a large installation with small pieces of art (7x7 cm each).
Each shop seller  will do his little piece. in the end all the pieces  will make  a large patchwork  installation.


 This is my piece.

I tried that somehow she was connected with my work.


I'm looking forward to see the final result.:)

The new Azulado collection brings to mind the charm of nature's surprising shapes. Rather abstract forms resembling corals, strange underwater formations, lava stones but also the more concrete shapes of hearts and flowers. And a stunning palette of vivid, striking contrasts of turquoise and flaming red or orange -being Greek, it instantly spoke to my heart and spelled "Mediterranean"...

Inspiration - nature

This week my husband went to the market to buy vegetables.
When he came back I started to prepare dinner and organize groceries in the kitchen.
Suddenly I opened a bag and I see .... this ...... I do not know the name, I just know I'm in love with the beauty of this texture. now the problem is ... I am unable to cook such beauty, I can not think of cutting this wonderful creation of nature.

I think it will appear soon new textures in my creations.
