This is another theme I consider very important. Making pottery requires double care when it comes to packing.
I don´t want to take any risks in this área. Despite making my pieces with white clay of excellent quality, packing and shipping always demands maximum care.
All the packaging for the bowls and jewelry are made by me. In bowls’s packaging, care is enhanced, as you can see in the image.
After making the box, I increase it´s resistance with styrofoam.
In this case I'll put a small cup of the flower. she is wrapped in bubble wrap. I love to give a little surprise. this case the client will receive earrings as a gift. Everything will be completely packed with bubble wrap.
At the post office, i always ship my orders with insurance and tracking number, for a safe and quick delivery!
so I can locate the order later if necessary.
A cool post Darren. I wasnt aware of a few of these types of posts until reading your post, but ill certainly be giving a few of them a try. Hopefully they do well for me, as im sure they have done for many others.
