Quando iniciei este blog fi-lo com o intuito mostrar os meus trabalhos.

Abri a loja na Etsy, tenho trabalhos em algumas lojas em lisboa, sou mãe e claro que o tempo não dá para tudo aquilo aque eu gostaria de fazer.
Acontece que esta semana ao fazer mais um treasury na etsy, dei por mim maravilhada com o fantastico mundo do artesanato ( mais uma vez).
È realmente maravilhoso o que a criatividade faz.
O meu pouco tempo não me permite estar tanto tempo em frente ao computador e é muito facil perder-me entre fantasticos artistas.

When I started this blog I did so in order to show my work.
I opened the shop on Etsy, I having my work in stores in Lisbon, I am a mom, etc, etc… and clear that time is don’t let me do everything that I like to do.
This week I to do one more treasury at Etsy and I found myself amazed with the fantastic world of crafts (again).
It's really amazing what creativity makes.
My little time prevents me from being so long at the computer but is very easy to lose myself among fantastic artists.

Uma outra artista fantastica, desta vez na area da fotografia è Filipa Carvalho da Photobreathing, uma fotografa portuguesa, a iniciar-se na Etsy. As suas fotografias são magicas, ao olhar para elas perdemos-nos, como entrar num mundo de fantasia.

Another fantastic artist, this time in the area of photography is Filipa Carvalho from Photobreathing, a Portuguese photographer, starting on Etsy. Your photos are magical, I lose myself looking at them, as if I entering in a world of fantasy.

E quem não gosta de um bom sabonete  da Elixirio, feito artesanalmente,com azeite grego, que tem hidratante natural e propriedades antioxidantes.

And who does not like a good soap from Elixirio , crafted with Greek olive oil, which has natural hydrating and antioxidant properties.

Trabalho no ateliêr *** Working in studio

Os meus ultimos dias no atelier tem sido bastante produtivos (tem mesmo que ser :) , o tempo passa tão depressa que se não ando rápido não consigo fazer tudo a que me proponho).
Vou começar na segunda quinzena deste mês um novo projecto em conservação e restauro de azulejos. Estou então a concluir uma encomenda para uma loja e  criar stock para as outras. Tenho algumas experiencias de novas peças, ainda em fase de estudo, que em breve publicarei.

My last days in the studio have been very productive, they must be:) time goes by so fast that if i don't run I can't do everything that I proposed to do.

I will start the second half of this month a new project in conservation and restoration of tiles.  then I have  completed an order for a store, and make stock for the other one. I have some experiences of new work, still under study,  that I will publish soon.

E depois de três dias maravilhosos que passaram em segundos voltei ao trabalho!

And after three wonderful days I came back to work!

O Solar...como foi... *** The Solar ... as ...

Já faz uma semana que o dia foi passado no Solar dos Zagallos.

Foi a minha primeira experiência em feira de artesanato ou evento do género.

O espaço é fantástico, vale a apena visitar, a organização muito boa.

Um dia completamente diferente. Dou os meus parabens aos actores e actrizes que figuraram durante todo o dia pelo espaço, foram exelentes.

Conheci outros artistas, vi outros trabalhos e tive uma recepção muito positiva ao meu trabalho.

... Valeu a pena.

It's been a week since the day was spent in the Solar Zagallo.

It was my first experience in arts and crafts fair or event of its kind.

The space is fantastic, it's just visiting, the organization very good.

A day completely different. I give my congratulations to the actors and actresses who have figured all day in space, were exelentes.

I met other artists, I saw other works and i had a very positive reception to my work.

... It was a very positive experience!

ThongbaiTatong

I've been very busy with a craft fair and create stock for the local shop.

But Bai,  from ThongbaiTatong  presented me with a pleasant surprise that I must share with you.

ThongbaiTatong is a shop on Etsy with wonderful clothes with a unique and special  design that I love.

This weeks Bai put new skirts and tops in the store and mailed me the picture where it was nothing more nor less than my necklace of blue line in the composition of the photograph. I am truly honored. The top is beautiful!  Thank you Bai!

Tenho andado muito atarefada com a festa do solar dos Zagallos  e a criar stock para as lojas.

Mas a querida Bai, da ThongbaiTatong presenteou- me com uma agradavel surpresa que não posso deixar de partilhar com voçês.

ThongbaiTatong é um a loja na Etsy com roupas maravilhosas com um design unico e especial, que eu adoro.

Esta semana Bai pôs novas saias e tops na loja e enviou-me a fotografia onde estava, nada mais nada menos, que o meu colar das linhas azuis, na composição da fotografia. Estou muito contente. O top é lindo!

Solar dos Zagalos

O Solar dos Zagallos, equipamento cultural da Câmara Municipal de Almada, realiza todos os anos no inicio do verão uma festa popular temática onde oferece aos seus visitantes diversas actividades culturais. Na festa no Solar os visitantes podem assistir a concertos, participar em ateliers diversos, ver teatro, ofícios tradicionais em trabalho ao vivo, assistir a visitas guiadas pela casa de habitação, ver exposições, divertirem-se com os jogos tradicionais e outras coisas mais. Tudo isto usufruindo dos bonitos espaços exteriores da propriedade.

Neste ano de 2010 a Festa no Solar realiza-se no dia 19 de Junho, das 10H00 às 19H00, e a temática da festa é “O Quotidiano Numa Casa de Habitação do Século XIX”.
 
Neste dia poderão  visitar-me no solar na area reservada ao mercado,  lá estarei para mostrar ao vivo os meus trabalhos.  Apareçam!
 
The Solar dos Zagallos,  held every year in early summer a popular party theme which offers its visitors various cultural activities. At the party at the Solar visitors can attend concerts, participate in various workshops, see theater, working in traditional crafts, watching the guided tours of the tenement, see exhibitions, have fun with traditional games and other things. All this is enjoying the beautiful outdoor property.



In 2010 the festival takes place in the Solar on June 19, from 10:00 to 19:00, and the theme of the festival is "The House Lifestyle In Housing nineteenth century."

On this day you can visit me in the Solar dos Zagallos, in the area reserved for the market, I'll be there with my work. Come on, it will be fun and very interesting!





 
 

A minha ausência My absence

Tem sido dificil passar por aqui.


Como sabem eu tambem faço conservação e restauro de azulejos antigos.

Este painel estava a precisar de uma grande ajuda.

Tem sido muito trabalho em pouco tempo. Mas isso é bom não acham?
 
 

It's been hard to come by.

As you know I also do conservation and restoration of old tiles.

This panel was in need of a great help.

It has been much work in little time. But that is good isn't it?

Packing and Shipping

This is another theme I consider very important. Making pottery requires double care when it comes to packing.

I don´t want to take any risks in this área. Despite making my pieces with white clay of excellent quality, packing and shipping always demands maximum care.

All the packaging for the bowls and jewelry are made by me. In bowls’s packaging, care is enhanced, as you can see in the image.

After making the box, I increase it´s resistance with styrofoam.

 

In this case I'll put a small cup of the flower. she is wrapped in bubble wrap. I love to give a little surprise. this case the client will receive earrings as a gift. Everything will be completely packed with bubble wrap.

At the post office, i always ship my orders with insurance and tracking number, for a safe and quick delivery!

 so I can locate the order later if necessary.

I love my job. By dispatching a creation of mine, I intend, when she arrives at its destination, the customer likes to receive so much as I enjoyed creating.

Photography

This theme begins to take a long time inside my head. I'm almost beginning to get obsessed. It's simple, it is well known that the image is what sells a piece. Of course the work must be of quality, everything has to be great, but .... the image is the first thing the customer looks.

And I've been ... well .... without quite knowing which way to turn. I have read great articles, for example of Carita  on the Hand made Europe , but have not found the way I want. I know I'm very demanding and I am never satisfied. but I still have a long way to go. And this next week I will begin to make new experiences, new pictures with my pieces.

Spring

Finalmente os dias de Inverno estão a chegar ao fim. 
Não quis deixar de assinalar esta mudança de estação aqui no blog. Mas acontece que passei horas nisto, confesso.
Poderia ter mudado uma ou outra coisa mas...não. Depois de varias pesquisas e consultas, voltas e mais voltas.Fazer, correr mal, voltar a fazer.... enfim,  finalmente tenho as barras de separadores, na parte superior do blog.



Finally the winter days are coming to an end.
I meant to mark the change of season here on the blog. But it happens that I spent hours on this, I confess.
Could have changed a few things but ... not. After several hours of consultations. Do, go wrong, go back to do it again .... I finally got the bar tab at the top of the blog.

Pregadeiras / Brooch

Depois de analisar muito bem a minha colecção , reparei que havia um iten em falta....

Pus mãos à obra, pesquisa de lojas de acessórios para comprar os alfinetes, buscas na net. Enquanto isso no atelier a modelagem das flores a sua pintura, estudo de embalagens.

Eis que finalmente e depois de varias tentativas frustradas de conseguir fazer uma foto no exterior SEM CHUVA, o sol fez uma breve visita e aqui estão elas.

Qual é a mulher que não gosta de receber uma flor?

After reviewing well, my collection, I noticed that there was a missing iten ...

I set to work, searching for stores to buy accessories for the pins, searching the net, research prices, etc.. Meanwhile in the studio I did the modeling of flowers, her painting and the study of packaging.

Behold, finally and after several failed attempts to make a picture outside WITHOUT RAIN, the sun made a brief visit and here they are.

What woman does not like to receive a flower?
